6) Power: Valkyrie has no powers that are abnormal for her species; she can use her magic to heal and protect others, may change into a human, and has telepathic abilities to allow her to communicate with other organisms.
7) Appearance: In her true form, Valkyrie looks similar to an Andalusian horse, with a light grey colored coat. She stands at about 15.4 hands. Her mane and tail are exceptionally long and thick, but do not get very tangled like a regular horse’s would. Her horn is not very long, reaching at maximum six inches. It is a pure, ivory colour, and has a slight luminous effect. At night, it actual glow enough to allow Valkyrie to see through the darkness of the night. She had light feathering around her hooves, which are the same colour as her horn, but do not have the same glowing effect to them. They are cloven as well like a deer. Her eyes are a strange, unnatural light blue colour.
When Valkyrie takes on a human body, her form is very light and lean, reaching about 5’4” even. Overall, her shape is not incredibly womanly, with only a slight curve to her hips and small breasts distinguishing her figure from a young boy’s. Her hair is very thick and wavy like her natural form, is ivory, and reaches her waist. Normally, however, Valkyrie will tie her hair up in a tight bun to keep it out of the way of trees branches, leave, et cetera. Her eyes retain their light blue colour, and, of course, look more natural in this form. Also, her ears are slightly pointed, but not dramatically.
As a humanoid, Valkyrie wears relatively simple clothing. Her dress is an off-white colour, with a fitted bodice and a flowing shirt and sleeves. Around her waist is a decorative belt fitted with sapphires. The shoes she wears are simple flats with laces that tie up her leg and around her calf muscle. Valkyrie also wear a white cloak as will with golden designs that cover it and a similar colored cord.
8) Weaknesses: Due to injury, Valkyrie has a crippled leg that decreases her speed very dramatically. Because the pain that results, she cannot move any faster than a trot. Valkyrie also succumbs to the other weaknesses of her species - if she leaves the forest for too long, she will weaken and die. Also, the sight and smell of blood will most likely paralyze her.
9) Biography: Valkyrie was born into a small herd of unicorns, and for sometime, was quite safe amongst them. However, early one morning, she decided to drift from the protection of the herd, and, as a result, was attacked by a panther. She suffered great wounds, including the breaking of her leg. Although the others in her herd were able to heal her, Valkyrie’s leg was so horribly mauled that she still suffers weakness in that leg. She could not travel as quickly as the others in her herd, and received light ridicule for the lamination that was born of her carelessness.
Because of her highly sensitive nature, Valkyrie did not take very well to the light teasing of the others in her herd. As soon as she considered herself ’mature’ enough, she secretly spilt off from the others, despite the relevant danger of doing so. She stayed close to the settlements within the Ashgrown Forest to keep from predators, even taking on her second form for long periods at a time in order to ’blend in’ with the humanoids who occupy the area. For a while, she would solace with the elves who welcomed her presence, but still felt the loneliness of not having any permanent acquaintances.
10) Personality: Valkyrie is, at first, a very shy person when first met. However, over time, she will slowly open up and becomes more talkative and incredibly loyal. She is very nurturing and motherly towards those in need despite her own handicaps. Many a time she has nearly caused damage to herself trying to help other, because she is very courageous as well. However, she has a tendency to tell small white lies, believing them to be not harmful even though they may develop into a problem. Valkyrie does not like to reveal her past to others, even when she has known them for quite sometime. She is also very curious, and has a wandering spirit - when coupled together, they usually get her into trouble.
