{Hmm. You guys have made this a little chaotic. Kinda depressing drama, if you ask me, but then, I'm a terrible (or terrific? A Dedicated) cynic... .... And I don't apologize for not writing. I a) had terrible writer's block and b) way too much stuff to do, school wise and all...}

Heat the floor? Rosada shook her head fuzzily. Why would any one heat the floor? That sounds insane.
Blinking incoherently, Rosada gazed around, observing the still frozen solid entrance, the three apparently trying to work together, and Pyra, still standing beside her.
Rosada had to stop and think for a moment to gather all that had gone on. And she was surprised that, for some reason, all the events were indeed within her mind. It was as if her mind had been occupied by someone else for a time, allowing (or forcing) her to forego control of her mentality, even as her mind still logged all that went on around her.
A curse She said? That's right, the swords mentioned something or other like that. What to do... oh. Rosada's eyes widened. Tugging tentatively on her geas to the Ice Mage, she observed an incredible fact: she could also feel the curse, which was practically a separate being. The swords, still at the same level of awareness that she'd sensed before, nevertheless took on an ominous cast as she now knew what (or who) they were. Or had been.
And they had mentioned that the Mark was obtaining its power from Sera's life force. So, logically, take that away, and it had no power.
Take--or block it from accessing it.
Impulsively--it had to be impulse, or else Rosada would have thought to ask Sera about it--the Sorceress reached out and into Sera's mind--ignored outraged protests--reached past Sera's mind, and gripped the curse. Like a heart, it pulsed grossly in her grasp, striving to obtain more power. {Was that controlling the character? Please don't take offense; I'm just really sick of this cave. Claustrophobic, and all... |_|}
With a firm thought, Rosada swiftly cut off all its access to Sera, and then she built a firm and unbreachable wall of protection between the two, using a mixture of spells and pure iron--and frustrated--will.
Finished, Rosada extracted herself directly from the Mark, finding it unnecessary to go through Sera again. Then she turned to the cave entrance, where ice was still glittering, and slammed her magic into it.
It shattered, easily enough, sprinkling them all with melting ice. Fresh, cool air rushed into their cave like gusts of wind, illustrating how close to losing it all they had been.
And they had wanted to add heat to the enclosure, Rosada thought, ruefully.

{Am I getting yelled at for this? I thought it was a pretty good comeback, after such writer's block, but then, you guys do like to... control, for lack of a better word, a lot of the action. At least, when you're inspired... Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be much action.... *cringe* [Don't hurt me...]}
