I’m trying to submit a character, but it wants me to log in.
If you have not yet created a user name and password, please click on the “register” link at the top of the forum and follow the instructions. If you need help recovering your password and can not do it via the forum’s password recovery system, please contact an admin.
Can I modify my character from another game to use on Heirot?
You can, but the key word is ‘modify’. The character MUST have a sense of belonging to Heirot’s world and not some other. Named spells or attacks, cities, characters, or other content that is from another game’s system will not be accepted. Ideally, the profile will situate your character geographically in Heirot and have a sense of originality. The character’s lifetime experiences and physical features need not be unique to Heirot.
I posted my character, but how do I get it reviewed by the admins?
It can theoretically take up to 48 hours for two admins to successfully approve your character. However, feel free to send a PM or IM if you’re in a rush to get approved, and we’ll review it as soon as we can.
My character’s powers/personality/age/history is changing. Can I edit his/her profile?
Absolutely. PM/IM/Email an administrator to unlock the profile so you can edit it. If you are adding a new power, we may review the power before approving the changes, but most edits are hassle free.
How many characters can I create? What if I get tired of one?
As many as you can keep up with! If you wish to retire a character, you can either have him leave his current thread and not join a new one, or have him killed in your story. If a character dies, please notify an admin so that we can mark your character as “deceased” in the People of Heirot section.
